Membership – Terms & Conditions

In joining the Wodonga Life Activities Club (WLAC) I acknowledge or agree to, as applicable, the following:

Membership

Membership of the WLAC is for a term of period of up to 12 month ending on 30 June each year. Membership entitles full access to all the Club’s activities, some activities may attract an additional fee and some may have limited participation.

Membership is not transferrable and may be cancelled at any time in accordance with the Club’s Rules.

Conduct

I will respect the rights, dignity and worth of all members, regardless of their abilities, gender, religion or cultural background. Additionally, I will support all efforts to remove any form of abuse or discrimination and encourage a safe and supportive environment.

I will abide by the Club’s Rules, By Laws and the decisions of the Committee of Management.

Privacy

WLAC is committed to maintaining the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of your personally identifiable information ("Personal Information"). The collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information is governed by the Australian Privacy Principles 2014.

Photography/Videography

I understand that photographs and videos may be taken of me while attending Club activities and that such photographs and videos may be used for promotion and/or advertising and may be ‘posted’ on digital media. I accept that it is my responsibility to advise the photographer/videographer that I do not wish my photograph, or a video including me, being taken.

Limitation of Liability

I acknowledge that my participation in WLAC activities involves the risk of injury and/or loss or damage to my property and that I participate in WLAC activities at my own risk. In no case shall the WLAC, its committee, members or officers be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind
